Meet the host.

Seth Herzog is a long-beloved NY comedian, actor and writer. He's currently the resident comedian and sketch performer for the "Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon." You also may know him from his 10 years being a hilarious talking head on VH1, or from hosting two shows on the Nat Geo channel, "Duck Quacks Don't Echo" and "Science of Stupid." He has also had some other memorable turns on the small screen on NBC's "30 Rock" or Comedy Central's "Broad City," "Chappelle Show," "John Oliver's NY Stand Up," "@Midnight," etc. Not afraid of the big screen, you can see him stealing some scenes in the films; "Role Models," "Prime," "The Winning Season," "In the Weeds," "The Ten," "The Baxter," "Safe Men," and starring in this year's feature comedy "Boy Band," now streaming on Amazon.

Our Theme Song

Written & Performed by Teddy Goldstein

Best known for being Seth’s camp roommate and an original member of the group, The Beachcombers, Teddy has penned the now popular theme song for The Sweetest Pod.

When asked where the inspiration for the song came from, Teddy says, “I don’t know, I guess I just sort of thought about Seth and the fact that he was going to be doing a podcast.”

Teddy’s music has been played on a variety of well-known T.V. shows including the DVD boxset of Felicity, because the distribution company didn’t want to pay the sync fees to use the John Mayer song that was used in the original version, so they swapped out Mayer’s song with Goldstein's, for a fraction of the cost.

Teddy’s music has also been heard internationally with the song, “Maria”, which he wrote for the German Pop/Opera duo, Marshall & Alexander for their record, Lover’s Forever, earning Teddy his first and most likely last Gold Record.

The Sweetest Pod theme song is not Teddy’s first foray into theme song songwriting. He also wrote the theme song to the web series, Zog & His Mom - a song about, Zog and his mom.

These days Teddy lives in Weston, CT. with his wife and two kids and is working on the follow-up album to his 2010 release, Alright Is The New Fantastic, which is currently titled, You’re Doing It Wrong. www.teddygoldstein.com
